FILTERS

Any vehicle and equipment warranties you may have are not affected by proper use of filters supplied by MANN+HUMMEL Filtration Technology US LLC ("we").

We warrant each filter to be free from defects in materials and workmanship during the Warranty Period. The "Warranty Period" is the service interval for filter replacements recommended by the manufacturer of the engine or equipment. If a filter is found to be defective during the Warranty Period, we will, at our sole discretion, replace it with another filter and/or reimburse you for the reasonable costs of the parts and labor required to repair your engine or equipment to the extent the damage is solely attributable to the defective filter.

WARRANTY SERVICE

To obtain warranty service, you must, within 30 days after discovery of damage, submit a claim to our Product Information Department at 1.800.949.6698. We reserve the right to examine the filter, engine and/or equipment to determine the extent of damage and whether it was caused by a defective filter. We also reserve the right to examine any applicable service records, installation records, and receipts.

CONDITIONS

This limited warranty DOES NOT COVER:

• Filters submitted in a condition that prohibits evaluation and testing, such as a filter that has been deconstructed, disassembled or cut open;
• Use of the filter on an incorrect, non-approved or non-recommended application;
• Use of the filter in competitive racing, on modified high-performance engines, or on any aircraft or aviation application;
• Damage or failure caused by improper installation, misuse, modification, accidents or abuse;
• Use of motor oil other than the viscosity and type as recommended by the manufacturer of the engine or equipment;
• Costs of repairs not directly attributable to the defective filter;
• Towing fees, rental car fees, or any other fees, expenses, damages, costs or losses that are not specifically provided for in this Limited Warranty.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED ABOVE ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AND OUR ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING CLAIMS FOR LOSS OF USE OF THE ENGINE OR EQUIPMENT ON WHICH THE FILTER IS INSTALLED, LOSS OF TIME, INCONVENIENCE OR COMMERCIAL LOSS. WE LIMIT THE DURATION AND REMEDIES OF ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY. FOR FILTERS USED IN COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS, AND EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Some states and other local jurisdictions do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state and other local jurisdictions.

GARANTfA LIMITADA

FILTROS

Cualquier garantia de vehfculos y equipos que pueda usted tener no se vera afectada par el uso adecuado de filtros suministrados par MANN + HUMMEL Filtration Technology US LLC ("nosotros").

Garantizamos que cada filtro esta libre de defectos en materiales y mano de obra durante el Perfodo de Garantia. El "Perfodo de Garantia" es el intervalo de las servicios para llevar a cabo las reemplazos de filtros recomendados par el fabricante del motor o equipo. Si durante el Perfodo de Garantia se determina que su filtro es defectuoso, a nuestro exclusivo criteria lo reemplazaremos par otro filtro y/o le reembolsaremos las costos razonables de las piezas y la mano de obra necesarios para reparar su motor o equipo en la medida en que el dafio sea atribuible unicamente al filtro defectuoso.

SERVICIO DE GARANTiA

Para obtener el servicio de garantia, usted debera presentar la reclamacion a nuestro Departamento de lnformacion de Productos al 1.800.949.6698 dentro de las 30 dfas posteriores al descubrimiento del dafio. Nos reservamos el derecho de examinar el filtro, el motor y/o el equipo para determinar la extension del dafio y si este fue causado par un filtro defectuoso. Tambien nos reservamos el derecho de examinar las correspondientes registros de servicios, registros de instalacion y recibos.

CONDICIONES

Esta garantia limitada NO CUBRE:

• Filtros presentados en condiciones que impidan la evaluacion y las pruebas, coma podrfa ser un filtro que se ha deconstruido, desmontado o cortado para abrirlo; 
• Uso del filtro en una aplicacion incorrecta, no aprobada o no recomendada;
• Uso del filtro en carreras, en motores modificados de alto rendimiento o en cualquier aeronave o aplicacion de aviacion;
• Danos o fallas causados par instalacion incorrecta, mal uso, modificacion, accidentes o abuso;
• Uso de aceite de motor que tenga una viscosidad y tipo distintos a las recomendados par el fabricante del motor o equipo;
• Costas de reparaciones no directamente atribuibles al filtro defectuoso;
• Gastos de remolque, tarifas de alquiler de automoviles o cualquier otro honorario, gasto, dafio, costo o perdida que no esten especfficamente previstos en esta Garantia Limitada.

ESTAGARANT[AEXCLUYE CUALQUIER OTRAGARANTiA, EXPRESAO IMPLiCITA. LOS RECURSOSANTES DESCRITOS SON SUS UNICOS Y EXCLUSIVOS RECURSOS Y NUESTRA RESPONSABILIDAD TOTAL POR CUALQUIER INCUMPLIMIENTO DE ESTA GARANT[A LIMITADA. BAJO NINGUNA CIRCUNSTANCIA SEREMOS RESPONSABLES DE CUALQUIER DANO ESPECIAL, INCIDENTAL O CONSECUENCIAL, INCLUYENDO RECLAMACIONES POR PERDIDA DE USO DEL MOTOR O EQUIPO EN EL QUE ESTA INSTALADO EL FILTRO, PERDIDA DE TIEMPO, INCONVENIENCIA O PERDIDA COMERCIAL. LIMITAMOS LA DURACION Y LOS RECURSOS BAJO TODAS LAS GARANT[AS IMPLiCITAS, INCLUYENDO SIN LIMITACION LAS GARANT[AS DE COMERCIABILIDAD Y APTITUD PARA UN PROPOSITO PARTICULAR, A LA DURACION DE ESTA GARANT[A LIMITADA EXPRESA. PARA LOS FILTROS UTILIZADOS EN APLICACIONES COMERCIALES, Y EXCEPTO QUE ESTE PROHIBIDO POR LA LEY APLICABLE, RECHAZAMOS EXPRESAMENTE, SIN LIMITACION, LAS GARANT[AS IMPLiCITAS DE COMERCIABILIDAD Y APTITUD PARA UN PROPOSITO PARTICULAR.

Algunos estados y otras jurisdicciones locales no permiten limitaciones a la vigencia de garantias implfcitas la exclusion o limitacion de dafios incidentales o consecuenciales, par lo que las limitaciones exclusiones anteriores podrfan no ser aplicables para usted. Esta garantia le otorga derechos legales especfficos y tambien podrfa tener otros derechos que varfan de un estado a otro y otras jurisdicciones locales.
